With over 20 years of experience in sustainability, circular bioeconomy, and regional development, Torfi Johannesson is deeply committed to creating positive impact and fostering collaboration across the Nordic and Baltic regions. Holding a Ph.D. in Agriculture from the University of Copenhagen, along with certifications in leadership and content marketing, Torfi Johannesson brings a wealth of expertise to his work.
As the founder of Nordic Insights, a consultancy that specializes in policy advice and project management on sustainability, bioeconomy, and circular economy, Torfi Johannesson has been instrumental in guiding organizations toward achieving their sustainability and integration goals. Prior to this, Torfi Johannesson led a department with 25 employees at the Nordic Council of Ministers, where he oversaw nine Nordic and Baltic institutions. In this capacity, he managed work under three Nordic Minister Councils and was responsible for Nordic cooperation with the Baltic countries, the Arctic, and North America (USA/Canada).
Driven by a passion for creating long-term, positive change, Torfi Johannesson leverages his extensive expertise, network, and insights to support both public and private organizations in navigating the complex landscape of sustainability.
Ulla Agerskov is a passionate advocate for transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive strategic decisions and foster sustainable change. With extensive experience at the Nordic Council of Ministers, Ulla worked closely with both Nordic and international partners on statistical projects spanning education, health, environment, and social affairs. Her ability to make data accessible and relevant has been instrumental in supporting Nordic cooperation and driving impactful communication.
As a former Chief Advisor at Statistics Denmark, Ulla honed her expertise in statistical methods, standards, and strategic communication. She provided expert advice to stakeholders on how to effectively leverage data, skillfully translating intricate statistics into compelling narratives that resonate with policymakers, businesses, and the public. Ulla’s approach is centered around uncovering the hidden stories within data, transforming numbers into meaningful insights that can drive informed decisions.
Today, Ulla is focused on helping organizations achieve their goals by developing ESG-focused, data-driven communication strategies. She believes that data is not just a collection of numbers but a powerful tool for understanding the world and making informed, sustainable choices. Her work is dedicated to creating communication that not only informs but also inspires, adding significant value to companies, organizations, and society at large. In addition to her professional achievements, Ulla serves as Chair of Save the Children in Kalundborg, where she combines her deep commitment to social responsibility with her leadership skills. This role allows her to lead initiatives that have a meaningful impact on children in need, aligning her passion for sustainable change with her dedication to social causes.
